Mrs. Russo’s Biomedical Science class took an exciting virtual field trip with PocketLab and Science Is Cool 🚗🧪! Students explored how crash tests are used to improve vehicle safety, learning how data, technology, and science work together to protect lives. What a cool way to connect real-world science to future careers.

Students stepped into the role of birds with different beak types, simulating how beak variations impact the ability to acquire food in a specific environment. Through this hands-on activity, they discovered which traits provided a selective advantage—bringing natural selection and adaptation to life in a fun, engaging way

On December 11, several Thomasville High AFJROTC cadets had the incredible opportunity to go flying with the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) — an experience that truly sets our program apart.
Through CAP orientation flights, cadets step beyond the classroom and into the cockpit to:

📚 See how aerodynamics & navigation work in the real world
👨✈️ Strengthen leadership, teamwork & confidence
🌟 Explore future careers in aviation and aerospace
