Congratulations to O'Ryan Sankey for being chosen as one of Mrs. Reeves Work-based Learning Students of the Semester. Interesting that she was also just chosen as Employee of the Quarter at Longhorns. When I tell people that we have wonderful students at Thomasville City Schools, I think of so many like O'Ryan who embody our motto. She is the epitome of respectful, responsible, and ready! What a bright future she has! Thank you to Longhorns for being a business partner with us.

Congratulations to Cole NeSmith for being chosen as one of the Work-based Learning students of the semester! Cole serves as an intern for Tires Easy in Pelham where he uses his computer skills to help with online orders, inventory, and returns. Cole's mentors and employers have commented numerous times about his work ethic, willingness to learn, and willingness to take on new challenges. Cole is one of the reasons I can always tell people that we have great students here at Thomasville City Schools. I am personally always glad to see Cole in our meetings because of his positive attitude. He consistently turns in all of his assignments on time and has great communication skills. It will be fun to watch him over the next few years to see all that he accomplishes.
