Thomasville High School has been recognized by the Georgia Department of Education as a 2026 AP Honor School, earning distinction as:
🏆 AP Challenge School
🏆 AP STEM School
🏆 AP STEM Achievement School
These honors reflect both access and achievement—ensuring students have opportunities to take rigorous courses and succeed in them.
As an AP Challenge School, THS demonstrates a strong commitment to offering Advanced Placement opportunities across core subjects—English, math, science, and social studies—while maintaining high participation.
In addition, being named both an AP STEM School and AP STEM Achievement School highlights THS’s success in expanding STEM pathways and ensuring students are not only participating, but excelling—with at least 50% of AP STEM exam scores earning a 3 or higher.
This achievement reflects the dedication of our students, teachers, counselors, and families—and aligns with our Bulldog +1 initiative, preparing every student for success beyond graduation.
