Students in art club and National Honors Society did a printmaking project to create Christmas cards for Veterans and nursing home patients.
Mr. Gammel and some middle school band members entertained students and staff with Christmas carols as they arrived at school earlier this week!
The Orchestra recently performed their annual Holiday Concert under the direction of Dr. Colleen Wade, and did a fantastic job!
8th grade Science Academy students had a blast on their trip to Universal and Islands of Adventure.
THS/SA was represented very well tonight at the Archbold Tree of Lights ceremony. Orchestra students volunteered to play for this event as the special guest entertainment. Our upcoming concert is this Thursday at 6:30 pm.

Mr. Peterson's AP Environmental Science class had a guest speaker,
CEO of Wakefield Biochar. He spoke about the significant impact Biochar can have to help slow climate change.
Mr. Peterson's AP Environmental Science class took a fieldtrip to the land fill and the Flint River aquarium where they did water testing.

Mr. Gammel's sixth grade Greco-Roman studies kids made monsters from Hercules's labors! Research was done, monsters were made, and fun was had by all!
The Georgia Aquarium offers βsea grantsβ to Title 1 schools so that Georgia students are able to experience ocean life. The GA Aquarium is committed to the education of young people in hopes that they become environmental ambassadors for the future. Some lucky Thomasville High School students got to take a chartered trip up to Atlanta today to visit! Thank you Ms. Russo for writing the grant and Mr. Daniels for making the trip a reality.

The Georgia Governorβs Honors Program (GHP) is a four week residential summer program for skilled, knowledgeable, and talented high school sophomores and juniors. GHP offers instruction that is designed to provide students with academic, cultural, and social enrichment necessary to become the next generation of global critical thinkers, innovators, and leaders.
