So, ….

Mr. Bryant has been covering the election process with his students in his American Government class and yesterday it culminated with a mock election. . Students were required to have voter identification as they checked in to vote. They were given ballots and then once the ballot was submitted they were given stickers that recognized them for voting. The students voted for the mayor and council members of Bulldog Nation, as well as for referendums dealing with dress code, cell phone use, having food in class, flex period, etc. This was a wonderful activity and it appeared that the students really enjoyed it.

Ms. Piazza's 10th grade Literature class took part in presenting their novel studies today in class. Presentations in literature class are such a cool way for everyone to dive deep into the stories we've been exploring. It's awesome to see how different people interpret the characters, themes, and symbolism in the novels we've read.
