No School Friday, December 10th! 

Today is the last day to get your HS Yearbook Senior Ads. A full page ad is $185, a half page ad is $95. You can order online at jostens.com. Contact Mrs. Strausser via email if you have any questions. 

There is a Soccer Booster Club Meeting Tuesday at 5:30 in the Multi-Purpose Room. If you are interested in playing on our Bulldog Soccer Team this season, please encourage your parents to be there for information.

The Orchestra is performing its Winter Concert this Tuesday at 6:30 in the Auditorium. 

If you are interested in playing High School Tennis, please plan to attend a meeting in Coach Stewart’s Room Wednesday at 3:15.

There is a National Honor Society Meeting Thursday, December 9th at 7:00 am in the Auditorium. If you are a member of the NHS, this meeting is REQUIRED! Please be on time!

The THS Book Club is sponsoring a book drive through Dec. 17 in connection with the Thomas County Library.  Please donate gently-used books for all ages that you have around the house to Ms. Strausser in her classroom at SA. 

Congratulations goes out to our boys and girls basketball teams for sweeping our rivals this past week. On Wednesday, the girls defeated Cairo by the score of 58 - 36 and defeated crosstown Rival TCC 56-46 on Saturday. The boys team completed the sweeps by defeating Cairo 65-39 and TCC 63-30. 

The game this week vs Bainbridge, originally scheduled for Friday will be played on Wednesday at THS. 

The THS swim team had a good showing at the meet in Coffee County over the weekend. Nicholas Singley won the 100 yard freestyle, McCartney Bell finished 1st overall in the girls 100 yard freestyle. Lewis Stringfellow qualified for state with his times in the 50 yard free and the 100 yard backstroke. Also for the boys, Jensen Rahn placed 2nd overall in the 500 freestyle. For the girls, Olivia Suite finished 2nd in the 200 yard Individual Medley. Makenna Ponder placed 5th overall in the 50 yard freestyle, and Katherine Jones finished 1st in the 100 yard Butterfly.

And of course, a huge congratulations to everyone that made Friday night an awesome event! Our Thomasville Bulldogs football team defeated the Callaway Cavaliers by a score of 31-6 and will now move on to the State Championship game this Friday at noon at Center Parc Stadium in Atlanta. To support our team, the Thomasville City Schools will be closed Friday. Please congratulate players as you see them and wish them the best of luck in bringing home the trophy!
