Students, if you did not turn in a blue Chromebook Checkout form at the beginning of the school year, please come get one from the Media Center or ask your teacher for one. These are very important for the school to have on file.
Students please return the School-Parent Compact Signature sheet form to your teacher as soon as possible.

High School Girl’s basketball conditioning for this week is canceled. Tryouts are taking place Monday October 26 and Tuesday October 27 at 3:15 in the New Gym. You must have a physical done before tryouts; if you show up without one, you will not be allowed to try out. Please see Coach Cooper if you have any questions.
There will be a Key Club interest meeting today, October 27th at 3:15. Any high school student interested in helping the Kiwanis Club and the community should plan to attend. The meeting will take place with Mrs. Bennett in the computer lab at the Scholar's Academy. If you are unable to attend but would like to join, please let Coach Tillman know.

Girls Soccer will hold an interest meeting on tomorrow October 28th in the Multipurpose room at the Scholar's Academy. If you are a 6th-12th grade girl interested in trying out for girls soccer please plan to attend immediately following school. Information on conditioning, try-outs and the season schedule will be provided.
The PBIS Committee would like to announce that on Friday, October 30th, you can come to school dressed up as your favorite character for Character Day. In order to participate, you will need to pay $1 to your 2nd period teacher. Remember to check the handbook on page 32 for the Dress Code because it will still apply. Tutoring for English and Language Arts will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school in Ms. Piazza's class.
The National Honor Society is sponsoring a Coat Drive for the Food Bank. Please donate any clean, gently-worn coats to the boxes near the front office on both campuses.
Driver's Education Classes will be offered at Southern Regional Technical College on November 7th, 14th, and 21st from 8 AM to 6:30 PM. The cost is $350.
HS Picture Make Up day will be this coming Thursday, November 12th, from 8-11:30 AM in the THS New Gym and from 112:30-3:00 PM at Scholars Academy in the Multipurpose area.
This Friday, the Varsity football team will play at home against Cook County. Tickets will go on sale this Thursday and Friday. Student tickets will be $5 and the student section will be back on the home side. Please wear pink in support of breast cancer research
