High School Yearbook picture make up day is next Thursday, October 1.
Title 1 Annual Parent Meeting will be October 5th at 5:30 PM in the THS Cafeteria.
There will be a girls' basketball meeting with Coach Taylor and Coach Cooper on October 5th at the Old Gym.
There will be a girls' basketball interest meeting on October 7th in the New Gym. Information for conditioning will be given out during both of these meetings. If you do not have a current physical on file, please let Coach Cooper or Coach Taylor know and they will get you the paper work. Come be a part of something great!
There will be a FCCLA interest meeting on October 7th at 7:20 AM in Mrs. Prothro's room in the tech building. If you like working with children, helping with community service and compete in competitions, this is for you! Breakfast will be served
Anyone interested in a Photo Essay Competition, please look on the Thomasville High School website for more information. The competition opens October 2 and the deadline is December 4.
A NEFF representative will be in the THS cafeteria during lunch on October 7th to take letterman jacket orders. You must have a $60 deposit to place an order.
Oconee County Ticket Information:
On Thursday and Friday, remaining General Admission, Reserved Seating, and student tickets for Friday night's football game against Oconee County will go on sale. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis at the Thomasville High School Dog Pen between 11 am and 4 pm. Reserved tickets will be $10, General Admission tickets will be $8, and Thomasville High School student tickets will be $5.
Additionally, fans may go online and purchase tickets through the GoFan website or app at the following link https://gofan.co/app/events/109971.
PSAT Information:
Wednesday, October 14, 2020: 10th Graders (Last Name beginning with the letters A-M, including virtual students)
Saturday, October 17, 2020: All 9th and 11th graders
Thursday, October 29, 2020: 10th Graders (Last Name beginning with the letters N-Z, including virtual students)
Students in the 9th and 11th grade who opt to take the PSAT must pay a $17 testing fee. Checks or cash must be paid to the book keeper at the Scholars Academy or THS main campus by October 13th. Eleventh graders who are interested in qualifying for the National Merit Scholarship can take the test for the final time this year.
