High Schoolers Look Forward to Fall 2020

Spring registration for Thomasville City Schools Fall 2020 school year is underway with Thomasville High School and Scholars Academy rising freshmen through seniors meeting for large-group sessions in the THS Cafeteria to learn about required academic and elective course offerings.

Students heard presentations from administrators, guidance counselors, and career/technical coordinators about the academic requirements for their particular grade level as well as the elective courses available to them on the Scholars Academy and THS campuses.  Elective courses in the fine arts, CTAE (Career, Technical, & Agricultural Education), and foreign languages were presented to students so that they can select courses according to their preferences. Following the presentations, administrators and counselors circulated around the room to answer individual questions and to offer guidance during this first look at options for the fall.  Students will share these options and information with their families before they actually register for next year.
