Thomasville High School Marching Band drumline members recently received new drums through the Georgia Council for the Arts Vibrant Communities Grant. The Vibrant Communities Grants support single art projects such as an art exhibit, a theatre production, a series of workshops for children, or an artist residency. The grant awarded $5000.00, and the remaining two-thirds of the cost of the drums was provided by Thomasville High School Band Boosters. The drumline will premiere the new equipment in the 72nd Annual Rose Show and Rose Parade on Friday, April 24, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. in Downtown Thomasville.
