
Mrs. Easterly's class has been working hard on informational writing. Here they are writing a How To paper on how to build a snowman. These students will jump at an opportunity to help one another with writing.



THS ROTC visited Scott to demonstrate proper flag folding and gave a rifle demonstration for the 5th grade Flag Team.





21st Century After School Program will resume on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Thank you parents and guardians for your patience, flexibility, and understanding.

For the safety of our students the 21st Century After School program will be closed from January 13th -January 18th. Students may return to the After School program on the 19th.

1st graders create characters after studying Dr. Seuss, using oil pastels & watercolors to learn about resistance painting techniques.





Thomasville Community Resource Center [TCRC] will be closed Friday, December 18, 2020 through Friday, January 1, 2021. We will resume normal bus transportation on Monday, January 4, 2021.


Thomasville City Schools would like to to announce that ALL students can receive free meals (breakfast and lunch) at school through the end of the school year! The USDA has issued waivers related to COVID-19 to allow schools to provide free meals to ALL students through the end of the 20-21 school year (May 28, 2021). No application needed. The Thomasville Community Resource Center is unable to provide transportation home on Friday, our early release day. However, if needed, parents may drop students off at 3:00 PM at the Varnedoe location for after-school services.
