🎇 Scholars Academy Mathletes took 1st place in the small school division at The Rockdale Mathematics Competition. 🎇 Under the supervision of Coach Darrin Minns, the SA Mathletes traveled to Rockdale Magnet School for Science and Technology in Conyers, GA. A four student team competed in three of the four rounds: the Power round, the Relay Round, and the Team Round. The fourth round was the Individual Round. Team awards were based on all four rounds. 🏆Congratulations for bringing home the trophy! SA Mathletes: Chloe Do, Jaden Dao, Rachel Miller, Gracie Harden, and Cooper Carson! 🏆

📚🔬 Hands-On Science in Action! 🔬📚 Mrs. Jones' 8th-grade Physical Science class at Scholars Academy explored the fascinating world of acids and bases using collaborative grouping! 💡✨ Students rotated through interactive stations, using pH strips to test the acidity and base levels of everyday solutions and household chemicals. 🏠⚗️ Through hands-on experiments and teamwork, they deepened their understanding of how indicators reveal chemical properties. 🧪🔍Great job, future scientists! 👏🔥
