🌎One student makes a world of difference!🌍
✨We are so proud of our very own 8th grade student Gracie Harden for sharing a part of her personal scoliosis journey to encourage the 6th grade student!✨
Gracie represents what we hope all students at the Scholars Academy will embrace: pursuing excellence and going above and beyond what is merely expected. Showing true care and concern for her fellow students, Gracie demonstrated how to boldly come face-to-face with a personal trial and be an overcomer. We applaud her determination and courage and are grateful for her leadership at the Scholars Academy!👏👏

🇺🇸 Thomasville City Schools Honored to Take Part in Historic Events for Former Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III 🇺🇸
Yesterday was a historic day for Thomasville as our community celebrated former Secretary of Defense and Thomasville High School graduate, Lloyd J. Austin III. 🎖️👏
General Austin, a retired four-star general for the United States Army and former U.S. Secretary of Defense (2021-2025), was recognized in a street naming ceremony in downtown Thomasville, followed by a gravesite tribute to Lt. Henry O. Flipper—the first African American graduate of West Point.
Thomasville City Schools was proudly represented throughout the day:
🎵 The THS Band performed the National Anthem and closed the ceremony with "Go Bulldogs!" 🎺🐾
🎖️ THS AFJROTC presented the colors and led the Pledge of Allegiance to kick off the event.
🎼 THS student Eli Mateo performed TAPS during the gravesite tribute, standing alongside local West Point graduates.
This event was a powerful reminder of Thomasville’s rich history, distinguished alumni, and bright future. ❤️💛
