Coach Davis is hosting an Informational Meeting for Middle School and High School Swim today at 4:00 in the THS Cafeteria.
FBLA will have a meeting after school Thursday in Mr. Kirkley’s Computer Lab. New members are welcome!
6th & 7th grade boys basketball tryouts will be this Thursday and next Monday at New Covenant Church from 5:30-7:00.
The rest of Homecoming Week: Toga Tuesday, West Coast & Western Wednesday, Throwback Thursday and DogFest Friday. The Sneaker Ball Homecoming Dance will be September 30th, from 7:30-11:30pm. You can purchase tickets from Ms. Cone or Mrs. Wehner in either of the front offices. Tickets are $10 in advance or $20 at the door.
Congratulations to our MPMS Teacher of the Month for the month of August…..Mrs. Heather Clark. Students said that Mrs. Clark is nice and fun. She works hard and makes students feel important and she motivates them to do their best.
For MPMS Student of the Month, there are 3 categories: Academic, Behavior and Attendance. The winner of the Academic Category is Arkavian McCoy. Arkavian’s teachers said that he does all of his assignments on time and to the highest level of skill. They said that he is smart and always gives his best. The winner of the Behavior Category is Jayden Dao. Jayden’s teacher’s said that Jayden is the most polite and helpful student not only to his teachers, but also his peers. He takes care of the classroom and the school. They have spotted him many times picking up trash and holding the doors for his peers and teachers. The Winner of the Attendance category is Addison Johnson. Her teachers said Addison is always in class, on time, ready to learn.
