For any students taking AP exams next week: first of all, best wishes on your testing! Please make sure to check your email from Dr. Sims. It's important that you get there early for testing. The Thomasville Bulldogs Baseball team will now face the Harlem Bulldogs in the Sweet 16 of the GHSA State Baseball Playoffs. The doubleheader for this series will be tomorrow (as long as the weather holds off) with first pitch scheduled for 2pm on our home field. All tickets must be purchased through GoFan or at the gate with Credit or Debit Card. Gates will open at 1:00 PM.
There will be a Middle School Softball interest meeting in the Multipurpose Room next Monday, May 1st at 3:30. Tryouts will be the 2nd and 3rd at the High School Field.
High School Girls Volleyball tryouts will be May 1st-3rd right after school in the THS gym. Middle School Girls Volleyball tryouts will be May 8-10. You must have a current physical on file to try out. Not quite ready for tryouts? The varsity team will be hosting a Skills Clinic for any 5th-7th graders interested in training before tryouts begin! This will be held May 4th and 5th in the THS Gym.
MPMS will be hosting the 8th Grade Masquerade Ball on Saturday, May 6th from 7:00-9:00pm. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Get your tickets early from Mrs. Brewster in the Media Center or a representative in the cafeteria during your lunch period.
Sign-ups for YMCA’s Lifeguard Training are now open. There are two classes to choose from before summer. You must be able to swim 300 yards, pass the brick test and tread water for two minutes in order to participate. Please pick up a form at the Front Office for more information.
Make sure to turn in your applications for Archbold Hospital’s summer volunteer program by May 5th! You must be at least a Sophomore to participate. Please pick up a packet at the front office.
