🎉 Today in class, we dove into the delightful story “Five Little Kittens”! 🐱 After reading, our students took a moment to reflect and write about their favorite part. The creativity and insights shared were truly heartwarming! 💖
Today was an exciting day in 4th STEM! Mr. Sherrard had a special guest, Dr. Gebel, who joined our students as they tackled an incredible challenge. Using Vex IQ kits, they are building a contraption to rescue a tiger that has fallen into a moat! 🐅🤖 This hands-on activity is all about teamwork and real-world problem-solving skills.
What an exciting day in our STEM classes before the rain! 🌧️ Our 2nd graders had a fantastic time learning about Georgia crops from Farm Bureau’s Stacy Merritt and Mattie from Cargill. They even planted seedless and seeded watermelon plants together! Did you know they need to be planted side by side for the seedless melons to produce? 🍉 Meanwhile, our 1st graders were hard at work transplanting squash seedlings started by our 5th graders. 🌱 What a wonderful way to connect with nature and learn!
